Michael Kunke is a filmmaker and a community development advocate. He holds a bachelor of Fine Art degree (animation major) from the Nationalmichael kunke Film and Television Institute, where he graduated with best graduate award in Film Animation. 

He has worked as Creative Director & Senior Editor at DigiVision Productions Ltd, where his professional abilities in animation, editing and graphics have defined the corporate style. He has also worked as Editor at Insel Communications, one of Ghana’s leading multimedia firms, and has been a Graphic Designer at Camelot Ghana Ltd, West Africa’s leading security printing firm.

Michael Kunke who specialises in documentary filmmaking is also an expert at audio-visual branding of corporate events and projects. His rich expertise has placed him at the forefront of two of the biggest political campaign projects in recent Ghanaian history: first as video editor for the media team of Alan Kyeremanteng for President 2007 project; and later as editor and director of photography for Papa Kwesi Nduom for President 2008 project. A humanitarian, Kunke is the founder of The Kunke Foundation an organization with which he is promoting educational opportunities for children from deprived communities in Ghana.
